Message from Dr. Erika F. Torres

The Inglewood Unified School District is committed to providing all students with a rigorous educational program, which prepares them to be college and career ready and productive citizens. Our students will attend safe schools that enhance student learning and well-being. Every learner, PK through adult, has the right to be educated in a safe, respectful and welcoming environment. Every educator has the right to teach in an atmosphere free from disruption and obstacles that impede learning.

Principal's Message

Cain
It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the principal of Inglewood Continuation High School where Determination and Perseverance are key to success. Although this is my second year at ICHS, I have been a part of the Inglewood Unified School District Family for 19 years, serving 12 as an administrator. It is humbling to mentor, provide guidance, and advocate for such an amazing group of kids as they continue their journey to graduating from high school.

We at ICHS are here to assist students as they navigate life, learning and growing. ICHS aims to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to explore their potential and achieve their personal best in all aspects of life. At ICHS, we strive to inspire our students to step into the world beyond school with confidence and with the capacity to contribute positively to society.

Parents, although your child is a young adult, it is imperative that you continue to support and motivate them along the way. Your involvement is so important to their success.  Your participation is needed on various committees and councils: School Site Council (SSC) and English Learners Advisory Council (ELAC). For information on becoming involved in our school, please contact the school office.

Collectively we will continue to empower our young people so that they, in turn, can make a difference.
